The Buccaneers recorded a 3-0 Betway Premiership victory over Amakhosi in their first-round league match at the FNB Stadium in February, with Tshepang Moremi, Oswin Appollis and Evidence Makgopa all on target.
While Pirates are fighting for the South African top-flight title this season, Chiefs are gunning for a top three end to their campaign.
Bucs head into this weekend's game on the back of a strong 3-0 victory over AmaZulu, Amakhosi were held to a goalless draw with Polokwane City.
Speaking ahead of the game, the assistant coach said Pirates prefer to play against teams that come at them rather than sit back, defend and try to nick a result.
"If a person is coming with revenge, that works better in a football match. For us, it's just to respond," said Ncikazi.
"The good thing about us this season is that we can play against a low-block, a team that is trying with the ball. You know the outcomes of the teams that want to go toe-to-toe with us.
"We'll play whatever is in front of us. Based on what they do we'll try and respond."
"Fortunately, we've got a very good and mature team. We don't have to worry about what the opponents are posing. We prepare for any situation," added the Bucs coach.
